Hello, my name is Lynn Stewart. I am the owner of Country Barn Creations. I live and paint in beautiful Calpine, California. We are in the Sierra Nevada mountains, in a high mountain valley. Just a few miles away is Lake Tahoe which is between Sacramento and Reno.I have been painting since 1986.
I met my painting partner Yvonne, at Tole classes and we became friends. We opened a store and sold hand-made gifts items, craft supplies, taught Tole classes and had an Espresso Bar inside. Yvonne's Mom provided us with yummy homemade goodies for the Coffee Bar. We have since closed the store but continue to paint.
My love for Tole and Decorative Painting and sharing the knowledge for others to enjoy has brought me to make my site. I have continued to paint for family, friends and customers throughout the years.
My work has been in many juried craft shows and has been purchased for private collection. I have designed for local organizations and they have become "one of a kind" items for them.
I accept Special Orders from customers and all of my friends and family. Enjoy browsing the corners of the barn and come back often.
